Concerts on the Canal is a highlight of summer in Welland, a vibrant, free concert series that brings the community together around music, culture and good vibes. For the 2025 season, the City of Welland came to us with a vision: inject boldness, colour and energy into a legacy program, and build a visual identity that could live large across the city on billboards, digital screens, posters, the website and social media.
The City of Welland had two clear priorities: move quickly and create something exciting. With a tight timeline and a big ask, our team immediately aligned on a collaborative, focused approach. We dug into past campaigns, understood what the event meant to the community, and built a creative direction that honoured the tradition while giving it a much-needed refresh.
What emerged was a brand look that celebrates energy, accessibility and summer fun. Something that matched the soul of the series and invited new audiences to take notice. Every detail, from typography to colour palette, was selected to punch above its weight in any setting, from massive signage to mobile screens.
